How To Read A Supplement Label

September 19, 2026 · Gelatiden Editorial

Marketing pages sell a feeling. The Supplement Facts panel is the closest thing to a fact sheet you'll get. Here's what we check first on any label.

1. Are Per-Ingredient Amounts Disclosed?

Naming an ingredient isn't the same as disclosing how much of it is in each serving. Gelatide names all six botanicals in full but publishes no milligram figure for any of them.

2. Is There A Proprietary Blend?

A "proprietary blend" lists a total weight for a group of ingredients without individual amounts. Gelatide's label avoids even that — it simply doesn't quantify the botanicals at all.

3. Is The Total Caffeine (Or Other Stimulant) Disclosed?

If a formula includes caffeine sources, a responsible label states the combined total. Gelatide's doesn't.

4. Are Manufacturing Standards Disclosed?

Look for GMP-certification and registered-facility claims, and confirm where the product is actually made.

5. What's The Purchase Structure And Return Window?

Check whether you're buying a one-time purchase or a subscription, and how long the guarantee window actually runs — and from what date it starts.

See how Gelatide scores on each of these in our editorial scorecard.
